Educational residency
Talks
I enjoy leading workshops that engage people of all ages and help them cultivate their creative processes. With younger students, I introduce diverse approaches to creation, while with adults, I focus on enhancing their skills and refining their work.
In 2008, I transitioned from commercial art to community-focused projects, particularly in schools. I’m deeply passionate about facilitating experiences through personal interactions. I often incorporate participatory methods, such as Combat: Manual for Daily Survival, which blends video, writing, and group discussions to empower participants through
artistic expression. My journey as a workshop leader began in 2000 at Witten Herdecke University, where I first taught black-and-white photographic printing. Since then, I've led workshops for Japanese students and worked with both high schoolers and adults on portraiture and narrative photography.
Through various educational artist residencies, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with local staff and students, developing fresh and innovative creative concepts.
I also enjoy engaging in talks, particularly in French, where I can challenge preconceived notions and encourage thoughtful conversation.
If you're interested in collaborating, feel free to get in touch!
