Landskrona Foto, Where to Land the eye -curated by Christine Eyene. Thank you to the Christine, the artistic director, Jenny Nordquist,
My main collaborator, Martin Bofeldt, artist/ gardener, not to forget Marco's patience and presence all the way. I was able to go further with my work and reflect more. They gave me the possibility to challenge myself and get to the place I wanted to. This work changes with the day light, as sun moves , it becomes negative, solarized and to positive. It disappears and appears and reflects the surrounding, transend the color. With Martin we created the garden as a continuation of Japanese garden, using the symbolism of water/ mirror, bamboo leaves and soil made of the compost of wood chips. Martin created the special offering for the space. We wanted to bring out the dialog rather than than dominance of a culture. We also echoed the waterline of fort on the other side of the building. All these were positioned with Andrew Place, and my other friends advised me as well. Andrew Matthews's sound piece "Water"and "air" was part of the installation. Tea offering of Kahalawai- house of water- blended by artéfact, Paris. This title was inspired by Apela Colorado's book women between the worlds. Mahalo nui loa to all.
