Since my first exhibition, Brain Cells, a multimedia painting series, I’ve explored the dialogue between artworks and space. At 59 Rue Rivoli, from November 1999 to April 2001, I created monthly installations that engaged both the art and the visitors. In 2008, I expanded into video with Blond Ambition, further exploring how moving images shape space and audience interaction. This approach evolved through collaborations with architect Andrew Place.
A key project in this journey is Odyssey: Reflect, an immersive series that combines collage, transparency, and sound, responding to light, sound, and movement.
Odyssey: Reflect has been shown in cities like Paris, Rome, and Honolulu. The 2025 installation at the University of Hawai’i Mānoa Art Gallery features a photograph of Lanai Island, displayed alongside fire-surviving cutlery, symbolizing resilience and deep emotional significance.
