about
The Artist

Miki Nitadori is a Japanese multi-disciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in photography. Her series are cross-disciplinary, evolving from photographs into site-specific installations that incorporate objects, sound, and interactive performance. Nitadori also engages in curatorial projects and leads educational residencies and workshops based on her works. Having grown up in diverse cultural environments—including Tokyo, Bangkok, Hawai'i, and Europe—her experiences influence her exploration of identity, migration, and memory. Through her projects, she invites reflection on ideas of home, family, and heritage. Nitadori’s work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the Museum der Moderne in Salzburg, the Honolulu Museum of Art in the United States, and the Rotterdam International Film Festival. Currently based in Paris, she is represented by Galerie André & Catherine Hug.
