Past, face to face and beyond
This work was my first attempt of creating a class photograph.
The original idea was to photograph students individually looking to 3 different direction (left, straight and right.) representing the past, the present and the future.
With certain teenagers i felt that the rapidity and instant result were the most important. For this reason , i chose to photograph in 4 x5 view camera , take time and share a moment with each person.
I find it interesting to confront some current issues with teenagers, their relationship with themselves, others and i. With the condition of snow and diverse climate change, relationships and feeling shared with each person, i felt to photograph little more free than planned. I would like to go further with this work, to arrive to make images where i am no longer the observer and share further experience with them.
